Our team and our customers loved the acoustics of the restaurant. One of our guests said one night:
- It is absolutely amazing that I can sit down and have a conversation without having to raise my voice. It gives an incredible sense of intimacy and comfort.
Although the restaurant is full and there is a lively vibe on every table, we can see that the sound level is completely different, and the new acoustic ceilings are really a great advantage for customers and employees.

NEW CEILING AND NEW SOUND IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS
The Retour Steak Restaurant installed 80 m2 and more 15 m2 of roof walls without ever closing the restaurant.
The solution was to work after hours. In a Sunday, after the last guests had left the restaurant at 2 am, the first team dismantled the electrical equipment and started installing the boards. The next team replaced the previous team in the morning of the same day and kept installing the plates, smoothing them after the installation. The last team came in the afternoon of said Sunday, polished the plates and installed the a temporarily lighting so that the restaurant could open as planned on the next day, Monday morning.
In the morning of Wednesday, the ceiling was completely dry, and we were able to assemble the lighting properly.

WHEN THE ARCHITECTURE AND THE ACOUSTICS RISE INTO A HIGHER LEVEL
We had a great acoustic challenge because we had to build a meeting room in an old hall and make it modern with room for various activities.
The vaulted ceiling gave a special acoustic to the place, but we wanted to preserve the great room with no visible interference.
This allowed us the ideal solution. The large uninterrupted space allowed us to improve both in an aesthetic level and in an acoustic level, raising them to a higher level.

A RUSTIC APPEARANCE WITH A SUPERB SOUND
To Rasmus and Jesper, who work in the Pluto Restaurant, it was very important that the acoustic ceilings could contribute to a rustic design. Our ceilings appeared at the right time crossing between the rawness and authenticity of the place itself.
Because MUTE helped in the planning phase, we could create an original sketch of what was done. We choose the finish, called NATURAL, to emphasize the rustic look.
There were acoustic ceilings in both beams and concrete ceilings, which gave the space very good acoustics.
The result is a rustic roof that emphasizes the design and the unique decor of the restaurant. And of course, a sublime sound.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. THINK IN WHAT A CEILING ACOUSTIC CAN DO.
We have a dining room with more than 3 meters high. The echo was unbearable! After applying the acoustic ceiling, the two of us can make meetings and events - and you really cannot hear the difference between having two or ten people in the room.
